This self-guided tour of island homes and beautiful coastal gardens
will give you an unforgettable taste of island life. Some sites on
the tour feature beautiful gardens, some feature unusual or
interesting homes, while some of our hosts graciously open both
their homes and gardens to tour guests.
To reduce vehicle congestion, we encourage you to carpool with
others, and to begin your tour at any site on the list. The sites
and road names that you need to find your way to each site are
marked on the map on the ticket. Please park on the road,
unless directed otherwise, and avoid turning around in neighbours'
driveways.
In consideration for our hosts, please leave your pets at home and
remove your shoes when you enter a home (we suggest you bring along
easy to remove footwear). Volunteers will direct you to the areas of
the property that are open to view. Please, no smoking or indoor
photography. This tour involves walking down rural driveways
and on uneven ground. We regret it is not wheel chair accessible.

Food Depot, Soup Socials, Christmas Bureau, seniors' Dragon Garden
and other community support programs and services on Gabriola
Island.

Tickets: $20 each (includes map showing site locations) Available at
ticket outlets in Nanaimo and on Gabriola Island after June 1st.
A ticket entitles one person to enter each home or garden on the
tour. Please present the ticket at each site.
